Election Commission of India has declared as a Dry Day in view of the upcoming election.

In connection with the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly General Election 2026 to be held in the Tiruvallur district and as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, April 21,22,23 and May 04 – 2026, the day of polling and the Counting day has been declared a Dry Day to maintain law and order and to ensure free and fair voting.
