In the Padi area—which falls under the Ambattur Assembly constituency—various awareness programs were conducted at a private supermarket under the leadership of the District Election Officer and District Collector, Mr. M. Prathap, I.A.S. These events, which included the inauguration of a cake exhibition, were held in the run-up to the 2026 General Assembly Elections to emphasize the importance of achieving 100% voter turnout.
