The District Collector inaugurated a mobile road safety awareness exhibition bus service – 08.07.2026

District Collector Mrs. S. Kavitha, I.A.S., inaugurated a series of Siddha medical camps for the tribal population of Poondi Panchayat Union; the initiative is organized by the Siddha Regional Research Centre, which operates under the Central Council for Research in Siddha Medicine (Ministry of AYUSH, Union Government).
The District Collector also inaugurated a mobile road safety awareness exhibition bus service—a joint initiative by the Thiruvallur District Administration and the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram Division)—implemented at a cost of ₹5 lakh. (PDF 62KB)
